Sybilla Xaverius Miller

Sybilla was born 1 March, 1847 in Rothville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and died 15 Aug 1935 in Los Angeles, California. She is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery, Belvedere, California. One census shows her living with her Grandparents Samuel and Mary Magdalena Mellinger.

It is assumed that the two photos we have of them, shortly before their deaths were given to Sybilla, and we now have the originals dating to 1861. Scott Mellinger, a direct descendant whom I contacted online was fascinated that photos existed of these ancestors and would like to preserve the photos.
