Jacob Getz
Jacob Getz was born February 21, 1840, the son of Isaac Getz and Barbara Croft. He died November 22, 1921 in Belvedere, California. His temple work was done in 1950, probably by his grandson, Arthur Henry Foster. He was the father of ten children.
Jacob Getz is my great, great, great, great grandfather. My grandpa kept a lot of family history...I have Jacob's Union Army discharge papers from the end of the Civil War!
Am a descendant of one of the families that accompanied Jacob Getz in the Pennsylvania Colony that left Pennsylvania on April 15, 1871 and founded the city of Osborne, Kansas on May 1, 1871. Would like to correspond and share photos, material, etc. - Von Rothenberger, Lucas, Kansas.
