Martin Miller & Esther Mellinger

Martin was born February 16, 1818 in Hopeland, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and died December 18, 1894, at age 72. The only other child we know of from their marriage other than Sybilla Xaverius is her brother Jerome Martin. Gloria Foster had original photographs of “Sybilla Xaverius' Grandparents” the Mellingers. On the back of the old photographs, it says their ages. We assume these are Esther's parents, but have no proof or names, other than the photographs. See photographs on page 184.
